If you are familiar with the Byna SD/HD magazines bumping the retaining clip can unload your magazine in a second. These Magazine protectors prevent that from happening. The fit was perfect. I would definitely use the Ammo Armor products for future launchers and weapons.

Byrna HD Magazine - Ammo Armor
The Ammo Armor works as described. Supports and holds the Byrna Magazine. I have the Byrna HD XL so all Byrna mags appear to be the same. This Ammo armor holds the mags in place and does not eject any projectiles when pulling out the mag. Now, If I can only find a mag holder that supports the Ammo armor for my gun belt, I would be set!

Just What I Was Looking For
I spent a year trying to find a way to stop the top ball to end up in the bottom of magazine pouches. This is it! Fits perfectly! I have 45 cal hard lined pouches with an elastic strap. The Ammo Armor would not quite fit until I split the hard inserts, vertically. They velcro in and the ramped ribs on the edges of the Ammo Armor keep them in. Awesome.
